MURALS / LARGE DRAWINGS

I made my first large-scale drawing "Touch" (see below) with a sumie horsehair brush on paper in 1993. During my last week in graduate school (Jan.1994), using the same medium, I made my first wall drawing on all four walls of the studio. That spring, for my final thesis exhibition, I covered the walls of yet another room "Wall Drawing Room (1994)". Since then, I have produced nearly 30 murals, the vast majority of which were temporary, lasting typically the run of a show, about a month. The most recent (2010-2012) was a commissioned double-mural "See Saw Seen" at the Contemporary Arts Center (Cincinnati, OH).
